3 or 4 green onions

2 cloves garlic

2 cups green beans

4 ears fresh corn

1/3 cup olive oil

Salt & pepper to taste

2 tsp. light miso

1 cup dry Great Northern or Navy Beans

Soak beans overnight and cook in water for 1 ½ -2 hours. Do NOT use canned beans in this recipe; they will be too soft and overcooked. Chop green onions and garlic and place in a food processor with oil and seasonings to taste and process until you have a smooth sauce. Set aside. Trim green beans and cut into 1-inch segments. Steam for approximately 5 minutes or until tender. Add white beans to corn with green beans and bring to a boil. Add green onion sauce and heat mixture over medium heat, stirring for several minutes, until well blended and heated through. Serve with brown rice.
